Singulair (Montelukast)

Singulair 10mg Tablet works by reducing and preventing swelling and inflammation in your lungs. It is known as a “preventer” and is used to prevent the symptoms of asthma such as tightness in your chest, wheezing, breathlessness and coughing. This means you can carry out your daily activities more easily and more confidently. It may take a few weeks for this medicine to show full effects. This medicine will not stop an asthma attack that has already started.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Singulair 10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Singulair 10mg Tablet works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways to prevent asthma and relieve symptoms of allergies.
