Istavel D 10/100 Tablet is a medicine that helps control high blood glucose (sugar) levels. It helps get rid of extra glucose from your body through urine. Lowering blood glucose levels is an essential part of managing diabetes, as this reduces the risk of getting serious complications, such as kidney damage, eye damage, nerve problems, and loss of limbs. This medicine reduces the risk of death from cardiovascular disease if you have type 2 diabetes and any cardiovascular disease.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them.

Common side effects of Istavel D Tablet

Vaginal yeast infection

Nasopharyngitis (inflammation of the throat and nasal passages)

Urinary tract infection

Upper respiratory tract infection

Headache

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Istavel D 10/100 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
