Albalon Eye drop (Ketotifen)

ALBALON EYE DROPS works by blocking histamine (a substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms) and stops the release of mediators from cells involved in hypersensitivity reaction.

Use ALBALON EYE DROPS as advised by your physician. It is for ophthalmic use only. While using it, tilt your head back and pull down your lower eyelid. Make sure you wash your hands and do not touch any surface while using it.

Close your eyes and press a finger against the corner of the eye for around 1-2 minutes to manage leakage. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using the medicine and wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

COMMON

• eye irritation or pain
• inflammation in the eye

UNCOMMON

• blurred vision when putting drops on the eye
• dry eye
• eyelid disorder
• conjunctivitis
• increased sensitivity of the eyes to light
• visible bleeding in white of eye
• headache
• drowsiness
• rash (which may also itch), eczema (itchy, red, burning rash)
• dry mouth
• allergic reaction (including swelling of the face and eyelids) and increase in severity of existing allergic conditions such as asthma and eczema

RARE

Stop using ALBALON EYE DROPS and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:

• severe allergic symptoms (rashes, itchiness, difficulty with breathing, swelling around the face and throat, eye pain/discomfort, vision changes or redness of the eye)
